Overall rating: 4.5 Price: $36 with tax & tip I was in the neighborhood, starving, just needing something to eat. I've been to the restaurant across the street so expected similar food. There are some overlaps, but it's not 1:1. I got the "chop'd cheese" and date caramel latte. - San Bei Ji Chop'd Cheese: 3/5, I don't think it was necessary to call this a chop'd cheese bc the only similarity is that it has cheese. It was more of a wrap, Philly cheese steak style. It was really hard to eat & very messy. - Date Caramel Latte 10/5, I would literally travel back just for this. Omg it was so good. This is already a popular spot, so it really doesn't matter if I recommend it or not. But, maybe just order something different. Service was friendly. The time I went, the atmosphere was chaotic.

Spectacular Stopped by for some breakfast after learning it's not that difficult to get a table after the opening of their location in the L.e.s. Food was absolutely delicious, tried the bacon egg & cheese & jiucai pancake, which was savory & had really great flavor. Their black sesame cappuccino was delicious & packed a bunch (not a coffee drinker & enjoyed it). The jasmine tea was delicious. The pork & tofu fan tuan was a real surprise as well, the rice and egg were cooked to perfection as well as their tasty pork. The red rice donut was delicious but unexpectedly a thick heavy donut. The pinenut sun cookie was really really good, not too sweet with crispy edges (ended up being my second favorite thing i tried). The bakery itself is not that big, you have to order at the counter then find yourself a seat but if you're with one or more person I would say have one person order while the others find/save a table. Everything was a tiny bit pricy but the overall flavor and great service made up for it. Place is definitely worth going out your way for a visit. I will absolutely dine here again very very soon.

This Taiwanese spot in a Brooklyn staple, located at the opposite street corner of its sister restaurant. It serves a lot of fusion dishes with a Western style, in addition to running bar-top seating that offers drinks and coffee beverages. Win Son is most famous for its scallion pancake, which I also thoroughly enjoyed. It's on the slightly oilier side, so I recommend some form of drink alongside it when tasting. The crunch is great if you get the BEC version too. However, I personally also have to advocate for their chicken! Definitely get both the Fried Chicken Milk Bun and sample the Big Chicken Box. The five-spice cayenne is a great kick, and their bread is incredibly soft and flavorful. The seating will be few and far if you visit on weekends like I have in the past, so consider ordering ahead or potentially waiting in line. It's well worth the wait, the staff are all kind and courteous, and the food makes for a great bite or meal.

Fun trendy NYC spot! Enter from one side and exit the other! Love the aesthetic and people and multi varied seating availabilities. Great selection of items. The best was the juicai scallion pancake. Very worth it and pretty tasty. Other things were interesting but wouldn't get again. Had high hopes for black sesame latte but didn't hit the mark for me Would love to try the other items here and also come after 3:30

I was told about this bakery by a family member of mine. I had no idea about it and she described the BEC ( Bacon, egg and cheese) Like it was the best thing ever! So knowing me I had to go check it out as soon as I could. So I went last week. Walked in to a nice size bakery with many seating options and they have out door seating as well. The lady who took my order was very nice and took my allergies in to consideration and asked if it was ok to have so and so products. You order than they give you a number and they will bring you your order when it is ready. I was soo excited to try this Bacon, egg and cheese on a scallion pancake that my family member was raving about! And when I got it I was like wow that does look amazing. Took my first bite and I was hooked. I housed that sandwich down! The only downside it is a pretty oily sandwich. So have napkins ready! I was also told they have great coffee here but I did not get to try it. Maybe next time when I come I will. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping in. If not for the Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich or coffee they do have other pastries and donuts that looked delicious!
